Spire Gatwick Park Hospital is looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our Pathology department where you will be responsible for receiving samples and data entry.
Spire Gatwick Park Hospital is just a few miles away from Gatwick Airport. Central London and Victoria station are a 30 minute train ride away. The Hospital consists of 2 Outpatient areas, plus a Bupa Health Assessment Centre. There are 2 ward areas with 29 single rooms, a 2 bedded emergency recovery unit with a 16 bedded day care unit and five single rooms. There are also 3 Operating theatres – 2 with laminar flow.
Duties and responsibilities:
Based on our Pathology reception desk you will be responsible for the receipt of all samples before ensuring they are processed within the correct area. This is a busy team that requires high volumes of data entry and will involve plenty of time on the phone as you speak with stakeholders ensuring the timely receipt and delivery of results.

- A good administrator who is organised and accurate
- Knowledge of Pathology would be a benefit
