Memphis,, JOB SUMMARY Performs at an intermediate level, writing, coordinating and preparing presentations and proposals for our Chicago area Investor Services and Retail focused teams. Responsibilities include leading the strategy and development of new business pursuit deliverables for high-performing sales teams, managing Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, developing strong relationships with business partners and acting as a knowledge manager for the Midwest Marketing Team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages entire pursuit development process from inception through completion, overseeing collateral development, maintaining a strong command of each project’s status, while completing each in a timely manner. Responsible for understanding, conceptualizing, and executing client-based projects. Researches, resolves, coordinates and messages complex issues pertaining to RFP responses. Reviews materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding & approves materials for final distribution. Collaborates with marketing peers (local and corporate), research, sales management and senior leadership on implementation of business development strategy, best practices and processes. Acts as team knowledge manager for all proposal and pitch content. Develops strong relationships with clients and business partners. Provides excellent customer service, including responding promptly to client requests, meeting commitments, and managing demanding customer situations. Assists in the preparation of monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management. Assists in leading team initiatives around processes and best practices. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn web publishing platform.
