Plantation, Florida, Job Description We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to develop and implement marketing strategies for a fast-paced– and friendly — Private Wealth Advisory franchise practice of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. The role will require cross-training in all other operational functions. This position includes, but is not limited to, social media management, direct marketing, event marketing and website content management. The Marketing Specialist will provide creative material, develop content and assist with data verification and placement of advertising deliverables. Responsibilities may change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the franchise advisors. Salary range $45,000+. Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities 75% Marketing Develop and implement annual marketing plan to meet client acquisition goals Coordinate all aspects of client appreciation and prospecting events To include: Sourcing venue, securing speaker/topic, creating invitations, managing RSVP’s, compliance, post event attendee follow-up Learn and implement Client Referral Program Procure speaking engagements Schedule prospect meetings Implement and Optimize Advisor and Team websites Social Media Management – Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter The Online Client Experience Client and Prospect contact Referrals and Networking Seminars and Events Local advertising and media relations 20% Operations Cross train in the other operational responsibilities, including, but not limited to Financial Planning: pre and post meeting tools and materials Client service tools and materials Transactional tools and materials 5% Projects Assist the team with additional projects that come up throughout the year Key Traits of a successful Marketing Operations Coordinator Outgoing, Creative and Driven Effective communication with team members and clients Effective and efficient time management Ability to multi-task Positive attitude and sincere willingness to consistently learn and grow Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Direct attention to detail and organization Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by the advisor and Ameriprise Financial Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance within the advisor’s practice Required Qualifications Education and Skills College Degree 2+ years of similar experience Proficient in Microsoft: Word, PowerPoint, Excel Salesforce / CRM experience a plus
