Forbes, Delta Sky and Travel + Leisure magazines have named UC one of the most beautiful campuses.   Hoxworth Blood Center is seeking a Marketing & Promotions Coordinator, responsible for assisting development/implementation of marketing plans, advertisements, marketing materials, data tracking, promotion of blood drives and special projects. The position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. Hoxworth Blood Center is the only University-affiliated blood center in the United States, and the second oldest blood bank in the country.   Hoxworth Blood Center has become an internationally recognized leader in transfusion medicine; today, Hoxworth Blood Center has a staff of more than 270 full and part-time employees in 21 departments and a complement of more than 300 volunteers. We provide lifesaving blood to over 30 hospitals in the region. Your everyday work will touch lives.   Primary Duties Assist with developing, coordinating and implementing promotion plan, marketing plan and recruitment materials Provide Marketing support to blood drive recruiters to increase sign ups Assist with CRM customer segmentation, email campaigns and automation Create and monitor assigned digital ads and ad performance Monitor, track and evaluate campaign results and recommend solutions and changes Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects  Mange and lead marketing projects; Assist webpage content update May assist with event planning and marketing May assist with drafting and processing Quality Assurance documentations for the department May provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff Perform related duties based on departmental needs Experience with digital advertising preferred Photoshop and/or other creative software experience is a plus Working in teams and some project management experience preferred Ability to interpret and maintain basic departmental reports in Microsoft excel     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- Associate’s degree with five (5) years experience; -OR- seven (7) years experience. Degree must be in Communications, Education, Graphic Arts, Liberal Arts, Marketing or a related field. Experience must be in development and implementation of marketing and advertising plans.
