Job Overview:
Luminate Broadband delivers a variety of broadband and voice solutions to the greater Yampa Valley and surrounding areas – the only true gigabit broadband provider in the valley providing fiber-to-the-premise (FTTP).  The Marketing Coordinator will be the analytical and creative force who creates compelling and captivating advertisements driven by data collection and analysis. Luminate is in a highly competitive market dedicated to capturing market share and making the Luminate brand a household name.        
 
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions :
 

Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities
Produce creative marketing and advertising campaigns, materials and content with relevant impressions across multiple mediums aimed at improving ROI, customer perception & brand awareness
Maintain a relevant and professional online presence, including Luminate website and social media platforms
Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches
Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research
Maintains knowledge on emerging Luminate products and services
Collaborates with Leadership to develop growth plans for the organization
Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget
Analyzes customer counts and lines of business monthly, quarterly and annually to represent the health of the company
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for community events, promotions and advertising
Engages with the local community as the company ambassador
Utilize creative solutions to produce deliverables with the ability to use analytic tools for success/failure rates
Organize, arrange and coordinate events (internal and external)
Be an effective change agent by introducing effective marketing solutions for new products and services through SEO, CRM and other tools to better understand our customers and their needs
Participate in the creation and delivery of company and customer newsletters, publications and print advertisement
May be required to work after normal business hours and on weekends as required

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and graphic/creative software
Strong understanding of various Social Media platforms, their purpose and effectiveness related to marketing products & services
Ability to work both independently and within a team setting collaborating with colleagues on ideas, solutions and execution
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
Curious individual who recognizes what is and what isn’t working
Ability to plan several months in advance
Strong ability to adapt to a changing environment and evolve through that change
Knowledge of company policies and procedures
Knowledge of company products and services
Skill in handling sensitive situations in a professional manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality

 
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.

 
Physical Effort and Dexterity : This position requires sitting to complete work with a computer using a variety of software applications and telephone calls.  25%+/- of the time will be spent in the field performing various functions.
 
Visual Acuity, Hearing and Speaking : Must be able to communicate clearly for work and safety compliance. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. Visual and audio acuity is essential to this position proficiency in using standard office equipment.
 
Environment/Working Conditions: Normal office conditions, some irregular hours may be required.  Occasional day time travel for training or various errands as needed to complete the responsibilities of the position.

Reports to : Vice President of Operations
Supports or Directs : Internal and External Customers/Members
Internal: Regularly confers with Luminate employees and other departments within the parent cooperative as needed
