My client, a global retail business with UK Head Quarters in Milton Keynes, is looking for their next Head of Finance for the UK.

You will join the senior management team and have overall control of the company accounting function.

Reporting into the FD for Europe and working closely alongside the MD, your responsibilities will include:

Month-End and Year End close
Cash management, including credit control, planning and customer management
Budget and Forecast management including IFRS Planning
Tax and VAT
Terms and Pricing including margin analysis
Year End Audits
Credit Control
Processing payroll and arranging payments
Intercompany recharges
Team Management

To be considered for the position you will have the following attributes:

You will be a Qualified Accountant with more than 5 years International Accounting experience
You will come from a retail/consumer/product or FMCG background
You have worked for owner-managed business and be comfortable reacting to change and influencing decisions
You must have strong technical skills but not only be a strong accountant you must also be strong across stakeholder management both at an Executive Level and also with Heads of Department.
You need to work in a collaborative and credible way.
Advanced Excel Skills
